About the Opportunity
As the Technical Specialist, reporting to the Senior Data Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of essential services to the wider business and the Data, Strategy & Analytics department.
The role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational management and administration of DSA critical solutions (the Solutions), specifically; Enterprise Reporting (Tableau), Data Governance (Collibra), Data Quality (Experian ADS), Azure Machine Learning (AML) and other solutions (within team remit) as directed.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
Design, build and release new capabilities and functionality in the Solutions
With the Senior Data Specialist, collaborate with stakeholders to deliver enhancements
undertaking thorough investigation of and documenting requirements
developing a solution to meet requirements
negotiating an appropriate timeframe for delivery
delivering to time, budget and requirements as committed
Execute testing of new solutions
Provide designs which minimize rework and are sustainable
Perform the role of administrator for the Solutions
As directed, provision/revoke user access and license allocations
Execute, deliver, maintain and manage:
source data and data movements across solutions
pipelines and integrations associated with the Solutions
batch monitoring health checks on solutions are performed, including BCP testing
the delivery of regular administrative tasks required to maintain Solution operability
execution of manual activities as required, including re-runs
data refreshes
upgrades, as required
planned outages
storage capacity and maintenance
Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring
Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or Statistics
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with complex large data sets
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and improvement of Technology systems
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with structured, semi-structured, relational, and non-relational data
Experience in developing and maintaining best practice database solutions
Proficiency in constructing high complexity SQL statements
