Job Description
The role of the Technical Support Analyst is to provide expert-level technical assistance to clients using D2L's suite of eLearning web-based software.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Resolving Technical Issues: Utilize exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues, providing quick and effective solutions to customers.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Gather and accurately interpret IIS log data to report findings to customers.
Critical Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of LE Core products and tools, as well as experience with other integrations, to support achievement of SLOs.
Software Development and Testing: Develop and prepare documents for system design and development, writing program code using HTML, JavaScript, and SQL to meet system requirements.
Testing and Debugging: Test and debug applications software using source code to identify logical errors and correct software issues.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
Certifications: ITIL V3 Foundation Certification an asset.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical support role, supporting enterprise software applications.
Skills: Basic knowledge of authentication protocols (LDAP, SSO, Shibboleth), experience with Fiddler and other Browser-based Analytics and Reporting tools, and experience with eLearning software and supporting a Learning Management System.
