Job Description:
Regularly interacts with:
Internal
• Product Management
• Operation External
• Customers
• Contractors
• System Alliance Partners Travel requirements: Frequent travel to customer sites for installation and training purposes.
Role description / primary responsibilities:
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Quickly understand the root of the problem.
• Track issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
• Talk to clients until they've solved a technical issue.
• Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., product managers, developers, operation)
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
• Ensure all issues are properly logged.
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.
• Follow up with clients to ensure their issues resolved and fully functional after troubleshooting.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports.
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
• Maintain jovial relationships with clients Essential Skills and Experience
• Proven track record of supporting AMI/AMR related project.
• Experienced in handling power distribution utility's Power in IT project
• Ability to lead projects and manage customers
• Excellent communicator. Desirable Skills and Experience
• Deployed and operated high-availability systems.
• Experience with packaging and deploying applications like HES/MDAS, MDMS, Billing etc.
• Understanding metering application
• Programing skillset like Python will be added advantage
• Experience with Oracle and MSSQL database Personal attributes: · Highly motivated self-starter.· Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.· Strong long-term commitment to making the company a success.
