Position – Technical Support Representative
Essential skillets required:
- Basic knowledge about the modem, router/WiFi
- Ability to assign an IP address, DNS, subnet
- Basic knowledge about Windows/MAC command line (CMD) like Ipconfig, Ping
- Basic Desktop Troubleshooting like printer setup, driver installation, remote access Browser Related Tasks
- Knowledge of Email Protocols: SMTP, POP3, IMAP
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Email Clients like Outlook
- Active Directory Procedures like account creation, password reset, unlocking the account
- Map Shared Folder to Drive
- Application Installation
Soft Skills:
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills in English.
- No MTI and ability to construct sentences
- Exposure to calls Inbound/Outbound
Below skills will be added to advantage:
- Basics of Subnetting, IP Blocks/CIDR
- Aware of Network Monitoring
- Basic knowledge about Routers, Firewalls, VPN, LAN/WAN Concepts
- Ability to differentiate L2 and L3 interfaces is an added advantage
- Awareness of OSI Reference Model, TCP/IP
- Awareness of basic Network Protocols
- Awareness of DNS MX Record
- Knowledge about Virtualization
