Product documentation is an extremely critical piece in the Product Development Life Cycle. We understand how important it is to provide correct and clean information to our users to ensure that they use our super-cool products to the fullest.
We are looking for Technical Writers who write simple, grammatically correct English and can easily communicate complex concepts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical Writing and Product Documentation Gather information through product specification docs, interviews, product demos and product exploration Work close with Product Management and Engineering to understand the concepts well and create well-thought-through documents Understand the various user journeys and present the content in a manner that can be easily consumed Use aids like diagrams, flowcharts and videos in the articles as and when required to explain the concepts better Peer-reviews Work with internal teams, identify the documentation bugs and gaps and work on the feedback
Mandatory Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in technical writing Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) Proven work experience in developing procedural software documentation. Ability to quickly grasp simple to medium complexity concepts and convert them into a consumable form using examples, images and videos Ability to probe, ask questions and research Quick learner Excellent team player
Good to have:
Exposure to API documentation Market and competitor research and analysis
