PREFERRED AGE MIN: 34 MAX: 42
CTC to be offered 18 to 20 LPA
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: Good written & verbal communication, smart, presentable flexible, good interpretation skills, decision making skills
AREAS OF EXPOSURE/ WORK BACKGROUND: Technical Writer/ Design & Engg. Background desired

JOB DETAILS PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Vertical Lead for Technical documentation of Naval Engineering Systems (Defence Systems)
Lead a team of technical writers (for Technical Documents User & Maintenance Manual, Product catalogue) of Various Naval Systems (Indian Navy)
Lead team of graphic designers to create tutorials. Create and maintain the information architecture within the department.
Interact with customer ( Various Govt. agencies ) for finalisation of the Technical documentation and contractual printing requirements.
JOB DUTIES/
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary:
Lead the team of technical writers to completed contractual deliveries of Technical documentation.
Work with internal teams (Various depts. Design, Shop, SCG & PMG) to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
Technical Documentation. Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience. Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications. Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities. Create and maintain the information architecture
Secondary:
Travel to customer sites for understanding of the systems
