About the role
We are looking for an experienced technical writer or an engineer with a writing background. As a content writer, you will collaborate with the engineering, product management, and customer success teams to write, review, edit, and deliver well-organized, user-friendly documentation of high
quality.
Job responsibilities
Create and update release notes, user guides, online help, and training materials
Review and ensure that the content is clear, correct, and easy to understand
Planning and delivering documents in alignment with the release deadlines
Working with the UX team to provide and review text content/tags for UI
Define documentation standards, style, and terminology
Required skills
Strong writing, reviewing, and editing skills.
Experience with authoring tools such as ClickHelp
Working knowledge of browser-based content editing technologies such as HTML, CSS, and
XML
Exposure to cloud-based app building platforms such as Salesforce, Amazon,
Familiarity with collaboration & source control software such as G-Suite, Confluence, Jira &
Git
Desired experience
5+ years in technical writing with a degree in BE/ BCA/ MCA/ BSc (Computer science) or 10+ years
in software engineering with strong, proven writing skill
