Job Description
The Microsoft E+D (Experience & Devices) Magic Consumer Content Team seeks a talented and creative, end user/ux writer to focus on our troubleshooting support content for various products such as Windows, Edge, Surface and Office. You’ll create and update content that addresses critical customer issues with the software. Your work may be a continuation of documentation already started, a revamp of existing documentation or brand-new documentation.
In this role, you’ll rely on your investigative and analytical skills to ask subject matter experts the right questions to get to the heart of the issue. Your content may live in several different formats and different places, so you'll need a lot of flexibility and understanding of what works best in each situation. You'll use tenacity and persistence when following up with key stakeholders. You'll use your ability to write clearly and succinctly to describe the simplest possible solutions and help customers get to a better place.
In this role, you will focus on a range of products including the Office Suite and Windows.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to analyze messy real-world data sets and present findings and business recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ability to understand the problem; generate ideas; propose ideas and update documentation accordingly
