Key Responsibilities
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including user guides, technical manuals, and API documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and functionality.
• Translate complex technical concepts and procedures into user-friendly content.
• Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills.
• Analyze and manage existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain templates for consistent documentation across all products.
• Conduct usability tests on documentation and gather feedback for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in technical writing.
Required Skills And Qualifications
• 3-6 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence, and Markdown.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience with content management systems and document control software.
• Ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging style.
• Strong research skills to gather information from diverse sources.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Qualifications:
• Experience in the technology or software development industry.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
