Your Impact & Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities
Taking end-to-end responsibility for product documentation projects – from initial design & draft reviews to release Content specialist for products – Document advanced product documentation Create and edit Knowledge Base articles troubleshooting in articles, identify knowledge gaps. Improve published documents based on customer and internal feedback Work with US & IL based developers and sales engineers, to determine scope, design outline, draft documents, carry through reviews from US & IL , and then take the project to a successful conclusion and sign-off. Work with support agents, QA and R&D to validate the technical integrity of a Knowledge Base article Write and edit knowledge base articles and admin guides for a product you choose to own. Review 20% of the content the team writes and provide feedback Write use casesWork with team members so comply with Check Point’s writing style and guidelines Team Management Monitor the team’s queue Manage tasks according to priorityHandle escalation both ways, on our behalf and from peers Team Growth Engineers should undergo periodic training related to their area of responsibility
Your Knowledge & Skills
At least 2 years of experience in Technical Writing Technical background in a computer-related profession Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in Agile mode The ability to work to deadlines Knowledge in Check Point products - an advantage Knowledge in MadCap Flare - an advantage Previous technical assistance role in IT - advantage Mother-tongue English - an advantage
