U.S.-based company is looking for a Technical Writer for their Remote IT Infrastructure/NOC Team in Bangalore.
Location: Bangalore (office-based)
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining, reviewing and verifying existing documentation [SOP’s/runbooks/Knowledgebase articles etc] for accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborating with SDM’s/other stakeholders/customers on creating/updating technical IT operations scoping/IT service delivery documents.
• Daily calls with customers along with SDM/Onboarding Specialist to collect, inquire and gather necessary information for creating SOP on ticketing/escalation workflows plus scoping documents on troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain a work log containing daily tasks for themselves
• Documentation primarily involves remote IT infrastructure support related processes, SOP, policies and procedures, workflows, troubleshooting guides, runbooks, scope of work, etc. It does not involve coding or writing APIs.
Skillset:
• Outstanding communicator
• Detail-oriented
• Technical know-how and real-time experience working for IT infrastructure management services teams/organizations would be a definite plus
• Strong writing, organizational and project management skills
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 6+ years of experience
• Vocational diploma in technical writing or content development
Shift Timings:
As this role would require interacting with global customers, shift timings will be from 6 pm to 3am IST.
