Job Description
Title - Technical Writer for Renewable Energy
Educational Qualification - Bachelor's degree in engineering - renewable energy or a related field. A master's degree is preferable.
Prior Experience - 2+ years of experience
Responsibilities -
• Create and update technical documentation - Develop comprehensive technical documents, including specifications and reports.
• Conduct research and gather information - Collaborate with relevant teams to gather relevant information on renewable energy technologies, equipment, processes, and best practices.
• Standardize documentation processes -Develop and maintain documentation templates and standards to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams -Work closely with project teams to understand the requirements and objectives of projects.
• Support training and knowledge transfer - Develop training materials for both internal and external teams.
Must have -
• Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in the renewable energy industry or related fields.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, systems, and components
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
