Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills and be able to create high-quality technical documentation for various products and services. The Technical Writer will work closely with subject matter experts to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand language for end-users.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and understand technical information.
• Write, edit, and proofread technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and other technical materials.
• Develop and maintain a content library for technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all materials.
• Follow established style and formatting guidelines to ensure all documentation is consistent and meets quality standards.
• Review and update existing documentation as necessary to reflect changes in products and services.
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is delivered on time and meets project deadlines.
• Participate in project planning and contribute to the development of documentation plans.
Requirements
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Technical Writer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with subject matter experts to gather and translate technical information.
• Familiarity with software documentation tools, such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or RoboHelp.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
