Qualifications
10 years experience in production and/or editing of technical documents to include specific experience in writing for non-technical audiences
Experience providing Technical Writing support within Engineering teams
Experienced user of the latest release of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) products
Additionally, in accordance with any particular task, the candidate shall have a combination of the following skills:
Ability to consolidate technical inputs and analyses, and produce a logical, understandable document
Ability to read and "translate" engineering drawings/specifications
Ability to interpret, absorb, and synthesize large quantities of engineering or technical information for non-technical readers
Ability to enter technical studies, metadata, and data into relational databases
Ability to upload content onto websites using COTS web authoring tools (Confluence)
Ability to create supporting graphics (Figma, Adobe Creative, Lucid Charts, MS Visio, etc.)
Ability to integrate existing graphics into documents using various COTS tools
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience with latest release of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Technical writers get matrixed into Project Teams to perform multi-faceted roles to engage you directly with interactive experience
Creative writing and document design, communicating "how-to", "next steps" and "in-depth" configuration and operational state manuals
Maintain the current draft(s) on the systems' SharePoint Page
Work with the IV&T team to validate operational steps are easy to understand and use
Ensure technical document deliverables are developed using the most current documentation standards
Serve as a documentation SME to the project team
Communicate status, dependencies, risks and issues daily/weekly to the Team Lead
Keep internal Confluence page and log updated with the latest revision and location of documents

What You'll Be Doing:
• Creative writing and document design, communicating "how-to", "next steps" and "in-depth" configuration and operational state manuals

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
• Bachelors degree and 8+ (10+ highly preferred) years of experiences
• 10 years experience in production and/or editing of technical documents to include specific experience in writing for non-technical audiences

• Experienced user of the latest release of Microsoft Office (or equivalent) products

Salary Range:
$+6,400.00 - $168,700.00
