About The
CANDIDATE
Experience
4 - 8 years experience working in Embedded System Domain Telecom Domain as technical writer.
Mandatory experience of 2-3 years as technical writer for wireless products or Chipsets, should understand wireless standards.
2-3+ years working as technical writer for product standards (e.g FCC, UL) qualification/certification.
• Telecom product experience desirable
Edecational Qualification
B.E / M.S / M.Tech in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for providing professional technical writeup on Companys Products, Chipset, Boards etc. These writeups will be used by Internal teams, Partners, Vendors, Customers. Our ideal candidate must have worked on embedded systems, wireless products/modules, must have working experience in technical writing related to telecom electronics products. Candidate should have in depth understanding on building different types of manuals (operation, admin, conf etc), product datasheets, chipset datasheets etc.
• Build different types of documentation required during RD, DD lifecycles including SARAD, SRS, SyRS, RTMs, HLDs, LLDs, ICDs etc. for Telecom Products (Base Station, CPEs, SATCOM Terminals)
• Build and maintain datasheets for electronics modules, ICs/Chipsets (DSP Processor), application notes.
• Build product documents required for Manufacturing including assembly instructions, workflow documents, part drawings referencing etc.
• Lead documentation strategy building workflows for document automation Internal KT contents, Whitepapers, Patent detailing.
• Ownership Support for documentation needed for standards like FCC, ETSI, CE, UL
• Support organization level certifications e.g ISO +001, AS+100, ISO-27001, OHSAS etc
Build team and processes related to documentation, better knowledge sharing.
Skills Required
Minimum 2-3 Experience in technical writing for telecom products covering development lifecycle.
Experience in developing technical manuals for hardware / embedded system-oriented product.
Experience in developing detailed datasheets for ICs/Chipset (Processors DSPs)
Must have basic knowledge in wireless communication.
Must have in-depth knowledge in documentation tools (e.g Confluence, GIT) document automation tools (e.g Doxygen)
Experience in Hardware Design High Level Design Document and Low-Level Design Document. Including building block diagrams and description etc. derived from schematics level.
Experience in building/producing documents for standards, certification, patents etc.
