Responsibilities

The Technical Writer (TW) reports to the Project Manager (PM)

The mission of the TW is to manage the R&D project documentation process from project selection to final tax technical project narrative, providing a personalized positive client experience

The TW is responsible for project sample selection, client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) interview scheduling and completion, project narrative development, editing, and quality control

The overall standard is to deliver 80% of the final reports to clients within 60 days of the completion of project interviews

The TW will understand the definition of qualified research and development as defined in Section 41 of the Internal Revenue Code and Regulations

The TW will support process improvement initiatives and team members as needed to achieve company goals

Develop technical expertise as well as educate our clients in our areas of specialization

Be a voice in the dynamic growth and improvement of the company

Develop and be accountable for attaining objectives individually and as part of the team

Interview SMEs, and document the interviews to support project qualifications for R&D tax credits
