Responsibilities
AI-Driven Documentation Creation & Automation
• Create user-facing documentation (user guides, how-to articles, tutorials, knowledge base content) leveraging AI tools to accelerate drafting and improve quality.
• Write release notes, feature announcements, and product updates using AI-enhanced workflows that reduce turnaround time.
• Develop functional documentation and technical specifications while identifying opportunities to automate routine content generation.
• Implement AI-powered solutions for content creation, style consistency checking, grammar/clarity improvements, and version control.
• Pilot, evaluate, and build automated workflows for documentation tasks such as release notes generation, screenshot updates, and cross-referencing.
Process Optimization & Workflow Management
• Design and implement streamlined workflows for documentation requests, review cycles, and publishing cadences based on practical experience.
• Create templates, checklists, and standard operating procedures by documenting your own AI-enhanced content creation methods.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, and Engineers to gather information and ensure technical accuracy in documentation.
• Update existing documentation to reflect product changes while building automation to make future updates more efficient.
• Establish metrics and dashboards to track documentation velocity, quality scores, and customer usage patterns.
Documentation Operations & Tool Management
• Partner with the Technical Writing Lead to optimize the documentation toolchain (content management systems, authoring tools, version control, publishing platforms).
• Coordinate documentation repository organization, ensuring content is easy to access, search, and maintain.
• Support cross-functional stakeholders (product, engineering, customer success, sales) in submitting documentation requests and tracking status.
Quality Assurance & Content Improvement
• Implement automated and manual quality checks to ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Analyze user feedback, support tickets, and usage analytics to identify documentation gaps and create content to address them.
• Apply learnings from your own content creation to improve team-wide documentation quality and processes.
• Monitor industry best practices in technical writing and AI tools, testing new approaches in your own work before recommending to the team.
Change Management & Enablement
• Drive adoption of new AI tools, templates, and workflows across the Technical Writing team.
• Build internal documentation for team processes, tool usage, and best practices.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation within the documentation team.
Requirements
Experience
• 2-4 years in technical writing, content creation, or documentation roles in SaaS/fintech environments.
• Proven ability to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for technical products.
• Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements or automation in documentation workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Grammarly Business, Jasper, or similar).
• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Notion, MadCap Flare, or static site generators.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and localization workflows.
