Job Description
We are looking for a mechanical design technician to join our engineering team. Reporting to the Head Designer, Vehicle Engineering, you will have a major impact on the design, development and validation of various mechanical systems for recreational vehicles.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Creating the technical drawings needed for the manufacture of new vehicles;
Participating in the development of components and ensuring prototype production monitoring;
Collaborating with the team’s designers and engineers in the problem-solving process;
Creating tracking files to optimize project advancement.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
You have a DCS or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
You have experience in 3D modeling and surface design;
You have a keen sense of mechanics and good 3D visualization;
You know how to use software, such as Catia V5 or SolidWorks;
You know the geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards;
You find creative solutions to the problems you encounter;
You are known for being innovative.
