Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel and to complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures.
Your day to day
Analyses and monitors energy costs and expenditures for the department.
Work within expense limits established
Monitor efficiency of equipment and electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, guest entrance/access doors, television sets, lighting systems and make minor repairs and/or replacements to ensure things are working properly and efficiently at all times.
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
Train and instruct other members of the staff through sharing of knowledge and skills
Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions and/or requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintains the hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure the minimization wastage of electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVAC , AC ducts.
What we need from you
ITI or Diploma holder in Air conditioning and refrigeration or electrical or civil or mechanical.
Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role with a good understanding of English, both written and oral.
