About the role:
The Associate QA Engineer is responsible for understanding test plans/test cases, execute the same in a diligent manner; assist in development of test cases and run automation scripts
The Associate QA Engineer will also work closely with software developers and other QA engineers/testers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
• Execution of test cases, entry of issues/bugs into the bug tracking tool, and follow-up on entered issues.
• Make simple corrections to manual test cases as directed by the leads.
• Provide timely and accurate work and progress status via status reports and weekly meetings.
• Run automation scripts as directed by the leads
• Respond quickly to urgent needs.
• Ability to Multitask
• Ability to work well with extended team (development, deployments, operations, PM, etc.)
• Stay current with TV & entertainment industry developments and relevant technologies
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
• 0 to 1 year of QA experience; on test case writing and manual execution of test cases.
• Degree in science; computer science/computer applications is preferred
• Basic understanding of computers and software; QA understanding is preferred
