Technician |metal work|Fab Lab

Qualifications and experience:
 B.E OR Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Similar OR Any graduation with Fab Lab certification
 Working knowledge of machine tools/fabrication (experience in maker space/tool room
preferred)
 Candidate with prior work experience in equipment procurement and maintenance is preferred
Desired Skills:
 Independent handling of people
 Good Communication skills
 Ability to work in team
 Basic Computer knowledge
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
 Installation, operating and maintaining the equipment including Laser cutter, CNC Mill, CNC
Lathe, Manual Mill, Manual Lathe and other power and hand tools to facilitate startups.
 To oversee the successful operation, safety & maintenance of the Lab.
 Maintain proper records with regards to lab access, equipment usage and related charges
 Make recommendations on new equipment, AMC and replacement parts and related budgets
for approval
 Provide technical mentoring, guidance and support to the users of the lab on the usage of the
equipment and design tools
 Assign/supervise student interns being assigned to the lab for helping in the
prototyping/fabricating activities
 Set up right processes and practices in a state-of-the-art fabrication facility and maintain clean
and safe lab environment
 Lead tours and explain to visitors about the lab and the equipment in it

Salary: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
