Minimum Experience: Fresher or 2-5 years of relevant field Employee Name: Designation: Employee ID: Job Responsibilities: Prepares for examinations by checking equipment, taking inventory of supplies, replenishes stock as required, reviewing patient orders and schedules, readying recording equipment and inputting patient information. Manages patients stress by patiently explaining exam procedures, answering questions and providing ambulatory assistance. Positions patients, applies medical gels and electrodes, connects and adjusts equipment and verifies wave&rsquos signals. Produces high quality imaging by accurately positioning transducer, monitoring display, listening to signals, adjusting beam strength and focus, detecting artifacts that mimic abnormalities and recording images. To freeze the image on the viewer in order to obtain six frames. To freeze the picture on the viewer in order to take measurement of the aorta, La, LV, RV, IVS, LVPW. Manual dexterity, Good knowledge of human anatomy and physiology Echocardiogram techniques, Good communication skills. Records examination details by printing data and graphics, producing/recording measurements of heart wall, chamber and blood directional flow and velocity and comparing measurements to established norms. Observes all safety policies and protocols for patient protection. Assist the consultant in carrying out the following procedure Echo and other non-invasive cardiology procedures. To be present at the echo room on time for duty and prepare the room for the day. To ensure that the lab floor, machines, couches etc are clean and keep tidy. To ensure equipment is functioning prior to the patients are brought in to the room. To change linen on the couch and replace used towels with fresh ones. To call for the patient by order of their appointment and ensure they are comfortable. To request, help the patient to disrobe and change into hospital. Simultaneously ensure adequate privacy is given to patients. Performs the TMT (Tread Mill Test), Dobutamine Stress Echo under supervision of consultant and monitor patients comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses. Applies and removes the Holter monitor to patient. To load fresh DVD into the recorder and set the equipment for recording. To enter the name, registration number, ID number, age and *** of the patient and the name of the referring doctor into the equipment. To upload the recordings into online system for reporting and finalization. To enter details regarding patient such as name, age, sex, ID number, initial of referring doctor on the register. Ensures JCI compliance in accordance with departmental requirements. To ensure report is dispatched to respective Cardiologist and signed by the patient with paper being returned to the secretary for typing. Maintains and calibrates the equipment&rsquos in coordination with biomedical engineering department. Ensure cleaning and disinfection of equipment&rsquos as required in the department. Possesses knowledge of infection control and waste management. Ensures updated knowledge of laid down procedures To perform any job/task as and when assigned by the superior
