Job Description
• Performs Quality control of Imaging
• Assumes responsibility for reporting equipment breakdown and liaise with Biomedical and vendor for service
• Provides technical support and assistance in vascular studies. Performs maintenance of radiology store and lab.
• Performs all routine X-Ray, Bedside X-Ray, Special procedures CT scans and filming. Assists in CT guided studies like FNAC, fluid aspiration etc.
• Performs routine MRI scans.
• Performs Imaging, post screening, 3D reconstruction, networking, Archival and retrieval, film processing, changing developer and fixer, etc.
• Senior roles are expected to provide overall supervision and prepare duty roster for the dept
• Responsible for screening the patients and complete the consent forms & maintain patient care and comfort during the procedure
• Continuously upgrade technical competency through continuous education
• Perform equipment quality checks
• Ensure patient feedbacks are satisfactory and encouraging
• Comply to all safety policy applicable to the department
• Complete additional tasks as assigned time to time
• Taking extra activity roles in Department Quality improvement process (NABH etc)
• Should follow Department standard operating protocols, follow Chief Technologist and Manager instructions
To Perform Digital radiography, C-arm, 3 Tesla MRI and Pacs, 256 Slice MDCT. Female associates to additionaly perform Mammography
