Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Solution Delivery
• Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, fostering alignment on strategic goals and technical execution.
• Translate complex business challenges into clear, feasible technology solutions by leading solution architecture efforts.
• Ensure all technology solutions are designed with scalability, security, and performance in mind, aligned with enterprise architectural standards.
• Apply product management skills and technical experience to drive end-to-end solution delivery by coordinating cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, design, and operations, from ideation through deployment and support; while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with BCS local, Regional and Enterprise Technology teams within BCS to ensure consistent technology standards and maximize synergies.
Technical Talent Engagement and Collaboration
• Identify and bring the right technical experts, architects, and engineers at the right project stages to inform design and development.
• Facilitate strong collaboration and active communication between business and technical teams across multiple organizational layers in large matrixed environments.
• Influence and guide technical teams based on deep experience, helping them adopt best practices, anticipate risks, and make technology choices that deliver business value.
• Enable business teams to understand technological trade-offs, decisions/direction, and constraints to foster informed decision-making.
Influencing and Leadership
• Leverage extensive experience and credibility to influence both technology leaders and business executives regarding technology strategy, priorities, and resource allocation.
• Champion a shared vision and coherent technology roadmap that aligns with business strategy and drives innovation.
• Negotiate and manage expectations between business demands and technical realities, balancing ambitious roadmaps with delivery feasibility.
• Mentor junior technical and business partners, developing their expertise in business-technology integration and solution delivery.
• Promote the importance of leveraging reusable technology assets, components, and frameworks to improve efficiency and accelerate time-to-value.
Lifecycle and Governance Oversight
• Own the holistic engagement model across product lifecycles, ensuring smooth transitions between phases: discovery, design, build, testing, rollout, operationalization, and maintenance.
• Monitor solution health and adoption during, midst and post-deployment, driving continuous improvement based on measures, performance, user feedback and technology evolution, partnering with the relevant product owners.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and architectural guardrails.
• Foster strong collaboration and alignment across matrixed organizational structures common in finance, insurance, and technology sectors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Technical & Architectural Expertise: Extensive knowledge in solution architecture, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), system design, and integration patterns.
• Business & Technology Influence: Proven track record influencing senior technology and business leaders, facilitating complex decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate and maintain engagement in large, matrixed organizations, especially in finance, insurance, and technology industries.
• Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing varying priorities and expectations between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• End-to-End Product Delivery: Experience working closely with product management, engineering, design, and operations teams in Agile environments.
• Communication & Leadership: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in accessible language; inspirational leadership and mentoring.
• Leveraging Reusable Assets: Experience championing reuse of technology components, frameworks, and platforms to drive efficiency and consistency across projects.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field. Preferred certifications include TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
• 8+ years in technology business partnership, delivery and/or solution architecture roles bridging technology and business.
• Proven ability to deliver complex solutions aligned with business outcomes.
• Extensive exposure to finance, insurance, BPO, GCC, GCI and technology organizations with large matrixed organizational structures.
• Proven ability to identify and activate the right technical talent at appropriate lifecycle stages and motivate technical teams aligned with broader business priorities.
• Significant experience working with Global Enterprise Technology teams to align solutions and governance.
• Experience in overseeing projects involving both vendor and in-house built technology solutions
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale cloud platforms, microservices architecture, API strategies, and data-driven solutions.
• Skilled as an influencer and negotiator managing competing priorities across multiple departments and leadership layers.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder, and vendor management skills. Experience fostering alignment and consensus in large complex organizations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and updates to non-technical stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including senior management.
• Deep understanding of reusable technology assets, frameworks, and platform-based delivery approaches.
