Responsibilities

We are looking for a Test Consultant who has demonstrated a track record in leading and practicing test automation and having test engineering as their primary focus. We need someone who will come into our team and lay down a sound testing and automation strategy and deliver against that at scale in our multiple engagements as needed. We need someone who can converse at the level of a developer, someone who is a proficient coder themselves, someone who can articulate their test strategy in cloud-based environments and align the teams and implement through process that is consistent, flawless, and agile.
• Lead and Manage Testing:
• Manage multiple projects and deliver exceptional results in an agile environment.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy including automation.
• Translate changes into actionable work deliverables.
• Oversee test environment setup and maintenance.
• Foster Collaboration and Innovation:
• Collaborate effectively across teams at the program level.
• Share knowledge and drive Intellectual Property (IP) harvesting and reuse.
• Champion new testing initiatives and ideas.
• Embrace Continuous Learning:
• Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

Qualification:
• 8-12 years in software delivery
• 8+ years in software testing
• 3+ years in automation testing and associated tools.

Required Skills
• Ability to write and analyze code for automated tests with any of the popular programming languages (ex- C#, Java, JavaScript, Python etc.) and any of the popular automation tools like- Selenium, Playwright etc.
• Hands-on experience in building testing frameworks from scratch.
• Proficiency in test estimation, planning, designing, execution and reporting.
• Experience in any of the test management tools (preferred- Azure DevOps).
• Experience in leading the team.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps (CI/CD automation and scripting).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Process-oriented with the ability to think strategically.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Must-Have Skills
• Deep understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Sharp customer focus and passion for improving customer experience.
• Knowledge of cloud computing (Azure preferred).
• Experience in leading agile/Scrum testing teams.
