Job Description
The team will work closely with CDO's Data Insights team to develop and automate the key DQ analytics and remediation capabilities and technology teams for the build out of CCO DQ services and functionality for exception and correction management workflow.
Your Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for governing the execution of the data strategy and coordinating with the business divisions and/or infrastructure functions in executing their responsibilities in improving the quality of the data and any data quality remediation actions.
• Ensures that the banks data quality framework and/or the data quality frameworks within their domain are operational within the business divisions and/or infrastructure functions.
• Responsible for performing data quality checks using both CCO and BRE applications and process corrections on published data (where publishers have delegated authority) in CCO via the ECM user interface. This is a critical component of RDA adoption, since this role sits within the central team that will perform monthly counterparty adjustments for Risk, Finance & Treasury.
Your Skills and experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent preferably with experience in the Financial Services Industry.
• Experience in setting up and implementing robust operational processes in the DB environment.
• Strong interest in data, data analysis, and data principles.
• Strong analytical skills - manipulating big data e.g. Alteryx / Python and creating reporting views e.g. QlikSense / Tableau, and other reporting tools. Experience in DB data flows and systems a major advantage.
• Ability to structure and resolve issues in a live cadence within this framework.
• Strong people skills - particularly the ability to work with extended teams / partners across DB.
• Ability to work in an agile manner with teams within CDO and at the wider bank levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English across all levels, including experience in preparing and delivering presentations.
• Experienced in effective stakeholder management, managing conflicts, and balancing out different interests.
• Willingness to constructively interact with other people across teams and ability to support and guide junior colleagues on their professional and personal development.
• Ability to increase motivation and engagement across the team and act as a role model / champion for DB values.
