Job Description
Outbound Calls:
Make outbound calls to customers to remind them of due payments.
Follow up on overdue accounts by calling customers and discussing payment options.
Maintain a high volume of daily calls to ensure timely collections.
Customer Interaction:
Handle customer queries related to their overdue accounts and payment plans.
Provide accurate information regarding the customer's account status.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage timely payments.
Negotiation:
Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to recover outstanding amounts.
Offer suitable repayment options based on customer’s financial situation.
Ensure all negotiated plans are followed up on and adhered to by customers.
Documentation and Reporting:
Update customer interaction details and payment promises in the system accurately.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports on collection activities and outcomes.
Maintain proper records of all collections and follow-ups.
Compliance:
Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements while handling collections.
Ensure confidentiality and security of customer data.
Follow ethical practices in all collection activities.
Performance Metrics:
Achieve assigned collection targets and maintain collection efficiency.
Monitor and improve personal performance against set KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in any field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a telecalling role, preferably in collections or customer service.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Ability to handle difficult conversations with tact and professionalism.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software.
Personal Attributes:
High level of integrity and responsibility.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
