TELECOM SPECIALIST | WIRELINE

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

 Understanding of customer requirement and proposing the best possible solutions using available network

platforms

 Delivering and implementing the project as per scheduled deadlines; extending post-implementation and

maintenance support to the technical software team and customer

 Preparing technical presentations, answering technical questions, and managing customer trial through mail,

phone and on-site visits.

 Create translate and integrate GIS data and digitize new data using a variety of software

 Prepare and Broadcast monthly Network and Business reports to respective stakeholders

 Planning and designing of Fiber Network.

 Will be performing all aspects of OSP engineering for Fiber Projects.

 Troubleshooting in Fiber Link budgeting.

 FTTX network planning (BOM, BOQ, ISP and OSP planning)

 Working on GPON networks, Core and Access Networks.

 Training/Providing Demo to customers.

 Resolution of all operational issues of the customers for the software solution deployed for the customer

 Coordinate with software development team for resolution/fixing of issue in the software product

 Adherence to all the operational procedures/processes

 Interact with customer and stakeholder regarding the resolution of issues.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

 Excellent knowledge of Wireline Planning/ Operations, Feasibilities fundamentals and Architecture.

 Expertise in huge data base handling and GIS data processing.

 In-depth knowledge of NMS, EMS and OSS working is required.

 Expertise in Fiber laying and maintenance procedures and its progressing phases.

 Expertise in planning and deployment of FTTX network.

 Excellent documenting and presentation building skills for making Daily Reports, Progress trackers, Review

meetings and Technical requirements.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLSET

 2+ years of experience in any Fiber planning & optimization tool (Lepton NetworkAccess, MapInfo, Network

Engineer, AutoCad, ArcGIS SmallWorld, ConnectMaster & Comsof are preferable).

 Excellent written and verbal communications skills

 Knowledge of basic Telecom Network Topologies.

 Able to read and understand layouts, drawings and Maps.

 Flexible to work under work pressure.

 B.Tech. /B.E. (Electronics and Telecommunication) or relevant Graduate degree.

 Ready to travel to customer site
