Join our team as a Telecommunications Fiber Installation and Repair Technician! In this role, you will be essential in providing top-notch services to our customers by installing and repairing Telecommunication services, including telephone, internet, and video. Your work will involve:
• Installing, replacing, and rearranging fiber jumpers and both outside and inside wiring.
• Making critical attachments to poles and buildings.
• Mounting devices such as ONTs, power supplies, and battery backups.
• Configuring routers, internet hubs, set-top boxes, and computers.
• Performing physical tasks that may include climbing poles, using ladders, and working in attics and crawl spaces.
• Installing Coax and CAT-5 wiring.

Technical Skills and Additional Requirements:
• Proven experience in telephone service installations.
• Expertise in CAT-V installations and fiber cable work.
• Knowledge of Coax cable types and sizes.
• Familiarity with test sets for telecommunications.
• Experience with routers and home networking configurations.
• Understanding of loss, attenuation, and tiling in fiber optics.
• Ability to work in attics and crawl spaces safely.
• Competence in computer skills relevant to the role.
