Job Overview:
As an Outreach & Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
• Being a positive representative of Protera Health
• Conduct outbound calls and digital outreach (SMS, email) to patients to provide information and to assist with enrollment into the program.
• Providing education to patients on Protera Health’s value and the resources available to them once they enroll.
• Manage inbound calls from potential patients.
• Achieve member enrollment goals as driven by company KPIs.
• Support patients by answering their questions, addressing their concerns, and providing guidance and support.
• Document all interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work with patients to schedule appointments and follow-up care as needed.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current on healthcare trends and regulations.

Requirements:
• Experience making 150+ calls per day with success
• Some evening and weekends hours
• Reliable high speed internet-connection.
• Able to work remotely in a quiet, clean, and well-lit space.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal communication skills, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with patients over the phone.
Bonus points if you have any of the following
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
• Experience with CRMs and EMRs.
• Experience in social work/community outreach.
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid health plans.
• Ability to scope and tackle ambiguous problems
Compensation:
- On target earnings up to $24hr / hour ($18 / hour base + incentive for successful enrollments), equating to up to $49,920 per year
