Teller II Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Teller II to join our team at First Interstate BancSystem in Spirit Lake, Idaho. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing daily teller transactions in both the lobby and drive-up locations of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide customer account services, including receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, and selling cashier's checks and savings bonds.
• Answer customer inquiries in person and on the telephone, providing accurate information and resolving issues efficiently.
• Cross-sell bank products by identifying customer needs and directing them to relevant services.
• Complete special customer requests, such as closing accounts, taking orders for checks, and exchanging foreign currencies.
• Reconcile cash drawers and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• 1-3 years experience in a cash handling role.
• Excellent mathematical aptitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
