Pay Rate: 13.10+ - 17.6+7 Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved
Knowledge of U.S. Postal Service, UPS and other shipper regulations
Ability to communicate effectively with agency staff and the public to exchange information; sort materials using the agency's sorting system; perform simple mathematical computations; maintain address records using computer; operate postage meters, address machine, tabbing machine; stand for prolonged periods of time; lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities
Sort and open incoming mail and process outgoing mail for the agency
Assist with customer service by answering phones for mailroom staff and handling information requests taken by phone and mail
Pull literature for events and help maintain inventory
Use online systems for mail, database entry and address verification process
Maintain computer mailing lists and print envelopes and labels for divisions
Pick up and deliver mail to the post office; count literature for large mailings; stuff mailings
Assist in keeping dock and basement areas clean and organized
Greet delivery and truck drivers and assist with deliveries (UPS, Fed EX and other) and notify recipients to pick up packages
Safely use necessary equipment for accepting deliveries and processing incoming and outgoing shipments
Follow maintenance schedules to keep facilities and equipment in good condition
Help maintain office supply, records and equipment inventory
Help create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all employees and customers of NGPC
