Temporary Event Security Guard - Immediate Work + Competitive Pay!
Location - Calgary, AB.

4 days on 4 days off From 0800 till 2000
4 days on 4 days off From 2000 till 0800
4 days on 4 days off From 0700 till 1900
4 days on 4 days off From 1900 till 0700
This coverage the guard must observe and report while staying in the Securitas-provided vehicle on-site.
• You will need to arrive at the Securitas office 30 minutes before starting your shifts (Paid)
• Transportation to the site is provided
• Company devices will be provided
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Temporary Event Security Guard Responsibilities but not limited to:
• Observes and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property its assets and personnel.
• Must be able to write an effective incident report and ensure all the facts are captured.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time
• Must be able to communicate effective in English both Verbally and in Writing
• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Must be able to patrol and act accordingly with various types of incidents/disturbances.
• Satisfy client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents. emergencies, or security investigations.
Job Requirements
• With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable licensing requirements for Security Guards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a valid Alberta Security License
• Security Experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the office or be able to utilize public transportation.
• Must have a valid Alberta Drivers License
