Salary Range: $17.46 - $22.21 (Classification D2)
Contract Days: 182 Days Per Year

Position Summary
The primary purpose of an Instructional Assistant position is to promote academic and behavioral independence among special need students in the school environment. The Assistant works under the direction of the Special Education Case Manager and assumes responsibility for those portions of the IEP assigned by the Case Manager. Focus is upon structuring the environment to provide a safe learning setting for all students and to implement skill building techniques.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtained an associate’s degree or higher; or meet a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate through a formal state or local academic assessment the knowledge of and th
