Position Descriptor:
The position is to work 1:1 with a year 4 student with complex social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs with a diagnosis of ASD and GDD (Autism Spectrum Disorder and Global Developmental Delay), with a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidant) profile. The teacher will support and engage with the events of the school day, staff and student interaction geared to promote the physical, social, behavioural, academic, and emotional development of the student/s.
Knowledge and experience working with students with complex needs and on the Autism Spectrum is essential to the success in the role.
Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
