Key Responsibilities : Getting and understanding given documents, if there are any errors raising the request, once there are clarified working on them After finishing every task, need to do reconciliation and unit testing Identifying long-running queries, scripts, and tuning Understanding various indexes and using appropriately in the queries Identifying in the eliminating spool spaces, skewness issues Having good knowledge of data and dimensional modelling
Technical Experience : Need at least 5 years of experience in Teradata tools and utilities Need at least 4 years Teradata Database Administration experience Experienced in performance optimization techniques and Structured Query Language SQL tuning Demonstrated knowledge of Performance Data Collection and Reporting PDCR and Database Query Logging DBQL Ability to write complex Teradata SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions
Professional Attributes : Practical experience in managing the internal and external Teradata database security High degree of efficiency installing and configuring Teradata systems with Teradata Expertise with installing, maintaining, using all the Teradata tools ex BTEQ, SQL Assistant, TPUMP, TD Administrator, ODBC, MLOAD
Educational Qualification : 3-12 years of Teradata experience
Additional Information : Should have worked in Unix platforms Excellent oral and written
