JOB POSITION
The position is responsible for collaborating with data architects to implement data models and ensure seamless integration with Teradata services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
• Flexible to work in rotational shifts (24/7)
• Fixing the issues like spool space, High PJI and any data related issues on time.
• Strong knowledge on Teradata Architecture and Utilities (BTEQ, Mload, Fast Export & Tpump).
• Good knowledge on Informatica mappings and strong knowledge on performance tuning.
• Monitoring the day to day loads and take necessary actions during issues or escalations
• Document and simulate complex issues
• Prepare accurate & timely reports
• Ownership of supporting the process, monitor and fix production issues to meet set SLA's (service level agreement).
• Production Support associate should be available 24/7 to provide support for business applications.
QUALIFICATION
• Requires a bachelor's degree in information technology/data engineering or similar combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background and minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Teradata.
• Overall experience of 5-8 years in IT.
• Experience in IM/agile development processes.

• Excellent command and understanding of databases like Teradata & ETL tools like Informatica
• Should have strong communication skills; both verbal & written
• Passion for new technologies & Ideas

• Working on enhancement of applications and deploy the code to production.
• Fixing the issues like spool space, High PJI and any data related issues in time.
• Strong knowledge on Teradata Architecture and Utilities (BTEQ, Mload, Fast Export & Tpump).
• Good knowledge on Informatica mappings and strong knowledge on performance tuning.
• Document and simulate complex issues
• Prepare accurate & timely reports
• Ownership of supporting the process, monitor and fix data/code issues to meet dead lines after moving the code to production.
