Qualification

Bachelors in science , engineering or equivalent

Responsibility
• Proficient in Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation of ETL process using various Teradata utilities like TPT, BTEQ, FLOAD, MLOAD, TPUMP and FEXPORT.
• In-depth knowledge of Teradata Architecture, SQL, Teradata database and utilities.
• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing.
• Strong understanding of logical and physical designs used in developing Database schemas like Star schema and Snowflake schema used in dimensional modeling.
• Implemented various Slowly Changing dimensions [Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3] as per the business requirements.
• Expertise in the Teradata for better query running performance.
• Experienced in implementing error handling.
• Strong experience in Creating Database Objects such as Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Macro, Indexes and using Joins, Sub Queries and Set Operations in Teradata.
• Good knowledge in Unix/Shell scripting.
