Position Purpose
As a Terminal Information Customer Service Officer, you’ll be a welcoming and knowledgeable first point of contact for passengers, visitors and airport partners. Based across the terminal welcome desk and reception, this role plays a key part in shaping a positive customer experience by providing accurate information, practical assistance and calm support in a busy, dynamic environment. This is a permanent part-time role working across a 7-day, 5-week rotating roster.
Key Accountabilities
Provide friendly, accurate assistance to customers face-to-face, over the phone and in writing
Respond to airport, travel and general enquiries, acting as a central referral point for information
Manage lost property enquiries, including logging and reuniting items
Support reception coverage at the Management Centre, including during leave and peak periods
Triage and respond to written customer feedback
Distribute and assist customers with AAL’s hidden disabilities program
Support the broader airport team during peak operations and major disruptions
Actively contribute to a safe, inclusive and customer-focused workplace
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Essential
Experience in a customer-facing role such as reception, concierge or administration
Strong face-to-face, phone and written communication skills
Experience responding to customer enquiries or feedback
Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Availability to work a 7-day, 5-week rotating roster
Desirable
Current First Aid certificate
Experience working in a fast-paced or operational environment
Multilingual capabilities
