Position Title: Territory Integrated Business Manager
Work Location : Bihar, India
Position Purpose
Organizing sales, collections, sales development, conducting Product Advancement Trials and forwarding harvest data, implementing free sample distribution / side-by-side/ demonstration programmes, maintaining farmer contacts, providing feedback on market conditions and product performance.
Responsibility for Market Development Activities in the assigned Territory.
Job Responsibilities:
• Regularly meet the distributors, obtain orders, execute supplies and collect payment on time to achieve target
• Season wise Crop Wise Volume delivery
• New product launches & volume scale up as per mandate
• Ensure timely collection of receivables
• Drives sales to the channel (Distributor & Retailers)
• Regular Tracking of Distributors/Dealers performance vs PO's
• Takes care of market penetration, market share and services in the area where he operates.
• Monitors, consolidates and submits monthly liquidation reports for product movement from Distributor to Retailer and Retailer to farmers including ending inventory at the channel.
• Strong execution of product & campaign communication with designated proper tools utilization
• Parivaar member selection, enrollment, business planning & engagement
• Execute Retail engagement activities for improving- Retail penetration, depth & counter share
• Need based distributor selection & appointment recommendation for improving channel strength
• Execute product testing, Pravakta sampling targets as per mandate
• Enables collaboration and working in close harmony with the market development team (MIE's, MIO's & Area Marketing Managers).
• Participate in important demand generation activities on need basis like big farmer meetings, field days etc.
• Liaison with Ag Dept. officials
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor or Master Degree in Agriculture
Experience : 4 to 5 year's experience in seed & agro-chemicals industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Good experience in Field Crops & crop management techniques
• Understanding of agronomy and modern crop production; in particular horticultural cropping
• Good experience with Agro chemicals (Insecticides, Pesticides)
• Good communication -oral and written- in both English and local language.
• Strong persuasive & group as well as individual customer focused selling skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Objection management skill & Problem solving ability
• Capability to achieve sales targets, by still retaining control on the market.
• Strong commercial acumen, Understanding of the margin structure, conceptualizing schemes and articulating the advantages of our margins and schemes to the Dealers and Distributors
