Description

Role – Would be head of sales for the territory/district depending on the size of the business.

Responsibilities

· Executing the sales process for the region both B2B and B2C including planning and executing the demand generation activities.

· Identify, appoint and handle the channel partners

· Execute channel promotion and business promotion schemes to ensure sales maximisation.

· Manage collections and receivables.

· Work with the RM, regional agronomist and the product development team to execute the market development activities.

· Provide feedback to the RM on product pricing, competitor activities and how to counter those.

Qualifications

· Candidate should be B.SC(Agri)/B.Tech (Agri) with 5 plus years of experience and a good academic record right through from his school.

· Should have worked in large agri-input companies in sales and marketing and heading a district for atleast 3 years.

· Strong commercial acumen, team and channel handling experience.

· Good communication skills and decent fluency in English, Hindi and a regional language (Marathi for Mah preferable)

· Basic computer skills with MS Office

· Role requires extensive travelling of more than 20 days a month
