Job Description: Test Architect/ Lead Product Consultant
• 5-8 years of experience in QA Automation and 5 years in customer-facing role.
• Experience in Functional Automation, web, Mobile, API & packaged applications (SAP, Sales Force, Oracle) and data-driven testing
• 3-5 years of Hands-on experience with no-code/low-code tools or equivalent tools
• Work hands-on with Avo Automation customers to scope, define, design, implement and monitor test Automation using Avo Assure
• Knowledge of automation tools covering Functional Automation, API Automation, and even Mobile App Automation is mandatory.
• Responsible for planning, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting test automated test scripts.
• Experience/knowledge of running automation scripts related to Mobile on Perfecto / Browser stack cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience/knowledge of script-based automation is a plus
• Understanding of the overall Testing process and experience in Agile.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Academy, Customer Success, Sales, Presales and other team on customer projects
• Demonstrated experience in simplifying and communicating complex concepts to a technical and business audience
• Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms;
• Demonstrated presentation and proposal writing/preparation skills;
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently;
• Oversee/ensure the quality of test plans, test cases, test matrix in short entire automation implementation activities
• The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills, proven leadership skills, and software development experience.
Position Description & Responsibilities:
The Lead Consultant drives the test automation strategy, sets the technical direction for the QA work to be implemented for Avo customers.
• Planning, Designing, Execution and Reporting:
• Responsible for planning, designing, executing and reporting of automated tests for software applications for Avo Customers
• Test Strategy:
• Define the test strategy and frameworks for test automation.
• Establish design principles for QA automation and present options and recommendations as needed
• Test Case Development:
• Develop and maintain test scripts and test cases for automated testing.
• Collaboration with different Teams
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the software development lifecycle.
• Primary Objective:
• Focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Ensure timely delivery of automation implementation for Avo Customers
• Required Understanding:
• Strong understanding of software testing principles.
• Expertise in any one of the no-code/low-code automation tools
• Understanding of model-based test automation
• Mentor and guide the Avo Advisory implementation team
• Keep current with advances in automation methodologies and tools.
• DevOps knowledge/experience – CI/CD – with ADO, Jenkins and automated scripts to be integrated with CI tools.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with specific experience and demonstrable success with the full software development lifecycle; and using the Agile Development processes
• Experience developing and testing entire systems, with the capability to understand details of mixed technologies
• Successful track record as a 'hands-on' leader within QA teams, building and managing teams to a level of top-notch professionals
