We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Test Lead for Workflow Orchestration area.
In this role, you will:
Work towards priorities defined by product owners in the business to collaboratively build out apps in Rubix iQube (Workflow Orchestration) area.
To have a clear view of technology strategy for design & delivery of the technical aspects of the product…focusing on not only business delivery but constant focus on remediating tech debt.
to design automated test cases to support the test effort in conjunction with our internal and external support teams
peer reviewing tests and attaining sign off from our partner test teams
defining suitable test data (be that expected results / test entry data ad static etc
executing test cases and documenting the results, follow up actions etc
working with the Development Engineers, Test manager on the tools usage, execution plan and environment requirements
Building Test Strategy, Test Plans for Manual & automation , preparing POC for different automation tools as per time to market.
enabling a triage process for defect management between internal and external development teams
providing suitable testing M.I. and metrics to the test manager
Investigating issues and finding solutions by involving our testing stream partners (be that the repository HUB team, upstream and downstream systems integrated with XACT)
to be seen to be a knowledge expert on the tests required, the supporting test data, and expected results. Be the go-to person for other test team members.
Ensure that all test cases and the execution process meets internal HSBC standards.
Support the Test Manager in every aspect to ensure our test efforts meet the assigned deadlines.
Helping to coordinate the execution of testing such as UAT and non-functional aspects.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Demonstrable experience of Continuous Delivery software development methods, including TDD and automated testing (including non-functional performance testing).
Experience of working on high volume data integration and throughput requirements (profiling)
Willing to adapt, learn new technologies/trades and be flexible to work on projects as demanded by business
Able to communicate plans, statuses and results as per target audience
Overall IT exp of 7-10 years with at least 6 plus exp as Testing in large scale investment banking implementation
Can articulate a number of different approaches to test case design methods to ensure a requirement is rigorously tested
Java Coding skill to create a framework from scratch and able to compare and evaluate different framework models
Good experience in devops tools such as Jenkins integration, 5+ years of experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, GRID
Good to have knowledge on – Service NOW & Cucumber & Data base optimization
Technical Specifics:
Test Management – Building Test strategy, Test planning, Test cases writing and work on execution with results and status publishing.
Automation - Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, GRID. Solid experience with properties handling CSS, XPath etc
Manual Testing experience and work on execution (5+plus years) and lead from the front with OPS/Business users.
Solid experience with properties handling CSS, Xpath etc. Good experience in JAVA/SQL.
Good exposure to Test data management with technical skills as below: -
Sound Core Java concepts
Clear understanding of Selenium Web driver API
Hands-on experience on Data /Keyword / Hybrid framework
Service NOW & Selenium Grid knowledge - Good to have
