Test automation engineers duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. You should also be committed to developing skills to provide up-to-date solutions. Proficiency in programming language Java, Selenium with API testing. Creating an automation test plan and getting approval Identifying and selecting the automation test cases Designing and developing test automation scripts. Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE) to set it up Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Should be able to design the automation framework Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases Collating and monitoring the defect management process Managing the changes and executing regression tests Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation Experience in Agile practices (SCRUM). Close Coordination & Collaboration with Internal Stakeholder/ External Stakeholders and Vendors Strong Logical Aptitude to understand the overall Application and root out the gaps wherein required Good Questioning skills to understand the Root Cause of the request Y
