The Role Responsibilities Job Role The role demands a good level of understanding Capital Regulatory reporting, Basel IV, etc. This role has full accountability for all phase of testing. The successful candidate will use previous Programme Test Management experience and knowledge of application / product and infrastructure testing to develop, implement, maintain, and improve overall programme test management strategy. They will also be responsible for providing QC and QA oversight to individual projects. It will be a combination of Business Analysis Skills and Technical, Functional Testing skillset that provides an assurance to the completeness and accuracy of the infrastructure functionality to deliver results in compliance to the Regulations. Experience in executing and supporting all test phases, knowledge of SQL, ETL, Automation Testing, JIRA / Confluence and ADO. Some of the functional areas, the candidate should be having knowledge / skill on are Revisions to the Standardized Approaches for Credit Risk under Basel IV Capital Requirements for Bank's Equity Investment in Funds New Basel Framework for Large Exposures CVA Risk Capital Charge Framework The new Securitization Framework Operational Risk under Basel IV Capital Floors Governance and People Management Lead and be accountable for timely completion of testing and sign-off leading to implementation End to End Test governance on the various test phases mandated by SCB's SDF standards and unified test model framework Understanding the regularity requirements for various regions Provides overall guidance in all testing-related activities from test strategy phase, requirements gathering, test preparation and execution, test data and environment management as well as post implementation reviews Work with delivery and project managers to ensure that all test phases are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget which includes test planning and scheduling across multiple projects and BAU deliveries Overall stakeholder management, regular meetings and reporting to project sponsor's and project managers Supporting the Internal and external audits by providing the necessary test deliverables. Interaction with end-users and UAT lead counterparts, Production Support and other Technology partners Overall testing team management, resource forecasting, recruitment, on-boarding Programme Test Strategy and Execution Act as the owner of overall testing across all phases To define the overall test strategy, centrally coordinate with various business streams, technology, vendor and other stakeholders - and get agreement on the strategy from all stakeholders Prepare and own the detailed test plans to ensure the integrity of overall project schedule Adopt and understand the knowledge of functional and technical aspects of application Understands Requirements and architecture of the application Responsible for holistic functional testing, including regression testing on the overall operating model of Capital Infrastructure Develop and document Programme test plan Author and maintain Test Management Plan documentation Documenting tests findings and results Provide QC and QA for of each project plans Share experience with existing teams to improve testing policy and procedures. Perform systematic independent reviews and assurance reviews across the programme Testing Expertise and Continuous Improvement Provide expertise and recommendation to automate testing where possible Become an expert and implement bank's testing standards across the programme To review test cases ensuring completeness of SIT coverage Coach, develop and manage testing teams Experience in testing across multiyear programmes Identify cross project issues / audit observations and capture learning and best practices for future efforts Promote a culture of innovation Continuously seek opportunities for improvement within role, processes, team, and portfolio Keep up to date of industry project assurance methodologies and practices Influence stakeholders to ensure successful management of programmes and projects Educate stakeholders to improve project and portfolio effectiveness Technology trend alignments Anticipate future testing, automation needs of the programme based on the defined programme vision Effectively works with global on and offshore teams Ability to collaborate with different teams Stakeholder Management Bring in the testing best practices and to implement overall process improvements Ensure that all stakeholders are engaged in timely fashion and made aware of the overall testing strategy/process and ensure their participation in the testing phases in appropriate capacity Be accountable for ensuring that all test plans are agreed, required expectations are met and all signoffs obtained from the relevant stakeholders In case of complex and wide testing requirements, to plan and run the testing war-room with stakeholders - managing all aspects from scheduling to obtaining required sign-offs - with a tight day-to-day plan Socialise and agree the fix-release plans upfront with impacted stakeholders including regression and functional UAT plans Push the testing automation agenda with a view to improve the productivity and to cut-short the regression testing window Review the lessons learned from previous releases / phases and to ensure that follow up / corrective actions are taken on time to ensure the smooth execution of upcoming test phases Strategy Building out Testing Strategies Processes Good understanding and able to apply test processes laid down within Testing Framework, and/or standards as defined by project and SCB.
