Job Description
JobResponsibilities:
Lead multiple test efforts as well as provide leadership from offshore, while drive and / or perform the UAT of multiple agile /scrum teams / (7 applications at present, expected to grow 11 agile teams in future), in an onshore-offshore model to manage the UAT delivery supporting key product initiatives
Work closely with stake holders and / or client partners such as but not limited to: Area Product Owner, Tech Lead, Agility Lead, App owner, Tech team, Business lead / partner.
Create, align and review UAT artifacts (Test plans, Test scripts, Defect, Test execution status reports, and Final test closure report) with the CCB Ops UAT CoE standard methodology Evaluate test processes/tools to identify opportunities for improvement, or consolidation of test practices.
Attend and actively participate in all the agile ceremonies (e.g., PBRs), related to the aligned area product, review the necessary project documentation such as Business Requirement Document, Functional Requirements Document, etc.
Work closely with technology partners to identify, prioritize and automate the testing of various applications / functions
Assess post implementation issues against test inventory to identify gaps
Will have People manager responsibilities, need to assist in leading a team of UAT associates, and Leads in manager's absence
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Bachelor's degree: Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields
Minimum of 7+ years' experience creating test plans, test scenarios and test scripts required.
Minimum of 7+ years' experience with JIRA, ALM or similar Test Management tool and all its functionality
Strong experience in backend testing using SQL and Basic Unix / Linux (FTP, File move, Start-Stop services / servers, triage using logs)
Strong experience creating test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, test execution & defect management required
Strong decision-making capability, work independently with minimum direction, drive a team to meet target dates
Strong written and verbal communication, with a strategic mindset, excellent in analytical thinking
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Experience with Microsoft products
Experience with automation testing Tools (QTP, UFT, Selenium, etc.) are good to have
Experience as People manager is a plus
