Testing Officer - Level 2

Job Description

Your typical day as a Testing Officer - Level 2 may include:
- Planning and scripting tests for a range of business applications, complex system processes and API integrations
- Liaising with business analysts, developers, service management team and business representatives to perform testing activities
- Writing test scripts (both manual and automated) and preparing test data for various types of testing e.g. SIT, Regression testing
- Executing test scripts, clearly documenting outcomes and managing defects
- Leading and guiding other test team members.

You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Agile system testing methodologies
- Testing and defect management tools, ideally Tricentis q Test, with Zephyr Scale highly regarded.
- Relevant experience with SPER or Fines Administration, and ICT systems testing will be highly regarded.
