Role Description and responsibilities
• This is a full-time on-site role for a Textile Designer + Merchandiser located in Mumbai.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing textile designs and
• Managing the production of the designs from conception to finished product.
• The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs are meeting customer expectations while also staying on top of the latest design trends and market developments.
• Qualifications and skills
• Bachelor's Degree, or higher, in Textile Design or Merchandising
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong knowledge of textiles and fabric production processes
• Excellent understanding of color theory, composition and pattern repeat
• Ability to collaborate with clients and peers to identify and satisfy customer requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Preferably someone residing in Mumbai
• Proactive and effective in time management and meeting deadlines
