JOB SUMMARY:
MO Designs is looking for a creative and skilled Textile Designer to join our design team. The ideal
candidate should have experience in designing home furnishing fabrics, including prints, embroideries,
and surface textures. The role involves working closely with the sampling, merchandising, and
production teams to develop new textile collections that match our brand's premium aesthetic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Create unique and trend-driven fabric designs, embroidery patterns, and surface textures for
home décor products.
➢ Develop mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts for collections.
➢ Work on print development, fabric sampling, and embroidery detailing.
➢ Coordinate with the sampling and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
➢ Maintain a library of designs, swatches, and artwork.
➢ Research current market trends, fabrics, and techniques in luxury home furnishings.
➢ Ensure quality and consistency in all design outputs.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
➢ Degree/Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
➢ 1-3 years of experience in textile or home furnishing design.
➢ Good knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, weaving, printing, and finishing techniques.
➢ Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
➢ Ability to handle multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams.
