Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualize and craft original print artworks and surface designs for women's kurtas and dresses.
Develop mood boards, color palettes, and design stories aligned with brand direction and seasonal trends.
Utilize tools like Procreate (iPad) or Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop to design repeat and placement prints.
Recommend fabric-print combinations suitable for large-scale production methods like screen, digital, rotary, or block printing.
Collaborate with design and sampling teams to ensure scale, color accuracy, and successful fabric trials.
Iterate and enhance print layouts based on sampling results and feedback.
Maintain well-organized digital folders, naming conventions, and documentation for production and marketing purposes.
Qualification Required:
2-3 years of prior experience in textile/print design, focusing on women's ethnic or fusion wear.
Proficiency in Procreate (iPad), Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Strong grasp of color theory, print placement, and Indian fabric techniques.
Knowledge of various printing methods including screen, rotary, and digital printing.
Self-motivated individual comfortable with remote work and rapid design iterations.
Passion for creating prints that are both trendy and timeless.
